Beach 1 Key Use Agreement

Dear CBA Member, Please read and initial. By signing below you agree to keep the Beach 1 key in your possession and to follow the “Good Neighbor” rules of the Chuckanut Beaches Association. Please initial each line. Key number will be assigned when issued.

Only people living under the same roof may use the key. Guests must always be accompanied by a member, which may include anyone from your household.*

Sharing of keys with short term renters (defined by CBA as less than 6 months) is not permitted. Sharing of keys with long term renters is permissible with current paid membership for the rented property. Property Owners are ultimately responsible for their renter’s behavior and the key.*

Quiet Hours are before 8am and after 8pm. Both sound and light travel readily from beach 1 to neighbors. Please respect neighbors by not driving through the gate after 8pm.*

Please lock the gate behind yourself to prevent non-members from driving down except for drop off/pick up or brief visits. Non-members are not permitted to drive to the beach.*

Parking space is limited, please plan to carpool. Guests should meet at your house.*

If for any reason you do not plan to renew your membership, please return your key to Chuckanut Beaches Association P.O. Box 4035 Bellingham, WA 98227 or return the key in person to the current Beach 1 Steward. You may request a $25 key refund.*

Failing to abide by the above rules may result in a forfeiture of your key or may require us to re-key the lock and re-issue new keys to participating CBA members at a cost of more than $500.00. Please obey the rules. Thank you for sharing in the stewardship & enjoyment of Beach 1.
